my bird got hurt after everything she has been thru, someone hit her in a parking lot in jacksonville. i was on my way to a f-body cookout, stopped in winn dixie and when i came out i heard my alarm going nuts. when i got close enough to see her, i thought i would pass out. apparently some idiot decided to try to run over the front drivers corner. its mostly cosmetic, but still. im going to borrow my brothers big dodge and go hunt down the moron, who left the orange paint and tire marks on my bird.
the cookout was a great turn out tho. and everybody had a blast. we all went on a cruise afterwards over to another hang out. when we all pulled into the parking lot heads turned, it sounded like thunder. there was 25 birds and camaros. rivercityf-bodies.com

Find him, and then report him... Wouldnt that be considered a hit and run? If so, you'll get paid and the dipsh!t will go to jail! Good luck, good hunting

well, she went to the body/paint shop today. and her parking space is so empty now. but i told them they could have her for a month to fix a few other little things that were over looked the first time around. with as much $$$ as we have into having her re-incarnated, they better do it right this time. $5000 for car, $1800 for motor, $5000 for paint, $226 for wind shield, $400 for new clutch, $1000 for rims, $1000 for race & street tires. i forget how much it was for the brakes, not to mention all the washing and waxing. and the time we have put into having her look like a brand new Trans Am.

D@mn, reading this thread has just made me want to leave the TA in the garage where she's safe and sound. If someone were to mess up my new paint, Id go completely crazy and hunt the bastard down... then prob. end up in jail Seriously though, the reason people dont stay around is because they know the chances of being caught are slim to none. And the worst part, is that it was probably that "sweet old lady down the street" who did it and kept driving because her blind/deaf a$$ didnt even notice that she hit something.

Ok I agree they're definitely meant to be driven... But the garage is the best place to store them when your not driving. Which I understand may not be as often as you drive em, but it always seems to be the exact time some idiot comes along, so...
