Lets see what moves your car around. If you've got pics of your engine or engines, post them here.

That engine looks amazing, Tom! Did you do anything to get the pics to show up? From what I saw, I think you still had some 'spaces' in the image tags. When you type that stuff out, there can't be any spaces whatsoever.

Did you do anything to get the pics to show up? Actually, I did. You didn't do anything wrong. I forgot to tell you that Pix8 doesn't give you the correct link to the pictures for some strange reason. You have to modify the link a little bit for it to work. Raymond

Okay, I see. I went in with modify and looked at what you did. Still can't get one of the ones in the second batch to show up.

Okay, I see. I went in with modify and looked at what you did. Still can't get one of the ones in the second batch to show up. Are all of your pics working? If you could, add one more post with one link. I'll copy it, and then show you it along with a "modified" version. Raymond

Here is the one that I couldn't get to work. LINK 1) [ img]http://www.pix8.net/pro/pic .php?u=190195Nzra& i=614108[/img] LINK 2) [ img]http://www.pix8.net/pro/pic /190195Nzra& /614108 .jpg[/img] OK, the 1st link is the one that Pix8 gave you. The 2nd link is the one I modified to work. I had to remove .php?u= and added / in its place, and then had to remove i= and add / in its place. Then I added .jpg to the end of the link. Thats it. Just a little modification. Raymond

Why do they embed useless URLs to link to your pics, or at least state that in some instances you may need to make these modifications. Kind of defeats their purpose a picture hosting website. Anyway, thanks for the help, now I have to hit the sack. 4:30 comes pretty early.

Why do they embed useless URLs to link to your pics? I have no idea. They used to give the correct link. Now it's modified for some reason, and you have to figure out how to fix it. Raymond

I think you guys might be going about this the hard way. Perhaps it's my fault for telling you to 'right-click' the photo to gain the image URL, which doesn't work properly in this case.
1bad2k2ta --
If you log into your pix8 account, and navigate to the photo you want, just click "Get Code" below the photo. They give you the proper UBB code to use here at the forums -- no need for guesswork on the links. They even include the image tags on either end, so all you have to do is cut/paste.
If this is what you've been doing, then disregard the above...

That's in the S-10, right? Are there any performance parts for those?

Yeah, there are quite a few mods available. The only thing that the 4.3L lacks in aftermarket is fuel injected intakes and more cylinder heads to choose from.

The only thing that the 4.3L lacks in aftermarket is fuel injected intakes and more cylinder heads to choose from. I have seen some single plane intakes for Chevy V-6's in the GM performance parts catalog. I wonder if Edelbrock makes an intake? It can get expensive, but you could always get an aftermarket single plane, and fab it up for multi point fuel injection. The pics that I've seen of the 4.3 all appear to have iron heads. Did they come with an aluminum head from the factory? Raymond

I have checked edelbrock and they only make units for carbd and TBI applications. I could fab up a single plane for my F.I. needs but that would get pricey as you mentioned. There is a company named AFI that just done a F.I. Carbd intake for the 4.3L, but its close to $1000 fully dressed. This basic unit is $650.00 and is just a modded edelbrock intake. To my knowledge, all the 4.3L's came with Iron heads. I have seen aftermarket aluminum vortec castings along with just a couple of all out race heads.
