Are LS1 cars from Michigan instinctively fast or what? Just messin...There is a very good reason they didnt run the car a few miles from the W2W shop at Milan. Norwalk prepares the track like a 4 sec funny car is about to make a pass for everyone not just the good ole boys like I see at alot of other tracks.
Norwalk is a great track and well prepared, Go there if you get the chance. Its the only place Ive ever sidestepped the clutch at 6800 RPM and and didnt have traction issues (1.47 60ft 3400# pig/Camaro SS)

Yup there is another LS1 427 car you will see on occasion down there. My bud Dave just moved to Texas and has a red 01 Formula (RUQWIKR). It ran an "off idle" 9.87 at Norwalk in the spring right after coming off the trans brake at 3000rpm standing it on the bumper. The Madman "save yer a$$ bars" kept it from damaging anything major. I think he posted the wheelstand incar vid on LS1 tech. I saw Big Ricks car down at the LS1 Tech Norht-V-South in Bowling Green, Ky Aug 6th. For running factory style suspension that car is crazy fast. Ohio boys arent far behind either.
