Yeah, I hate to see the truck go after just obtaining it a week or two ago. I come across another project that I would much rather work on than the truck, and it has a LT1 too! ;D
I am in the processing of getting a 92 Vette. I hope to have it by the January no later than February. Lucky for me the guy selling it is a good friend so he is holding it for me till I get the rest of the money up. ;D
I have been doing everything possible that I know to get the money up, even buying other vehicles to fix and resell to make a buck or two. Wish me luck and I will post some pictures up as soon as she is sitting in my garage.

good luck.
'92 vettes are nice but so are the '66 chevy pick ups. but you also have the S10 so you dont need 2 trucks

do you have any pics of what the truck looked like. i would have loved to get it for my oldest daughter. she could have had the badest truck in high school. she could have shown those redneck boys what a real truck looks like. and depending on the motor that was in it, we would have had to shove a LS1 in her.

Good luck on your vette purchase. Once you get "corvette fever" it's hard to think about anything else. Don't forget the "corvette wave".

what is the corvette wave? When Corvette drivers pass each other on the road they wave. It's been that way almost since the beginning of the Corvette.

Good one about the jesture for the f-bodys & the mustangs.
Unfortunantly the corvette wave is not being used as much as it used to. Seems as alot of C5 & C6 owners are not aware of the tradition or just dont care. So it is up to us vette owners to "save the wave". I get more waves in my 76 than I do in my 04 for some reason.

cause your '76 has something your '04 wont have in a long time, and it wont ever be as much, style and character. mainly character.

You are so right AAron about the diffrence between the 76 & 04. The 04 can beat the snot out of it in every way except one. That is the feeling that a Stingray gives you when you are behind the wheel. This is the reason that after I bought the Z06 that I could'nt bring myself to part with the 76. Which one do I cruise around the most in? Well believe it or not its the 76.

I love the 3rd gens also. Probobly the most reconizable car ever built. Sometimes it is hard to reconize a c4 or c5 untill you are fairly close to it on the road. But absolutely no mistaking a c3. I do wish mine was a "bumper car" (68-72) & was a manual trans instead of an auto. But it is a pretty nice car so I guess it will do.

those old cars people got to be picky about options, so there are some weird ones out there. my camaro is power windows, not locks manual tanny no ac, but a heater, black with orange stripes and carmine interior. most people look at it and say how could anyone build a car like that and me i fell in love with it ;D
moral if you look long enough you can find what your looking for
