I took the plunge Saturday, bought a silver 04 ZO6 Corvette. I've wanted one for quite a while but never thought it would happen. But this one came up & the price was pretty good. This car is just flat unbelieveable. The LS6 is docile as grandma's car until you put your foot into it, then it rapidly changes it's personality. Now for the bad part, sadly the Formula & the 76 Vette have to go. Can't afford to hold on to them as much as I'd like to. They both will be missed. I'll post some pics of the ZO6 this weekend for those intrested.

Your right Arron, it was a tough decision. But I just could'nt resist the new one. It does everything great. All the creature comforts + awsome peformance. Won't be doing any mods for quite sometime since I have a car payment agian. But it runs good enough as is. Whats scaring me right now is that I still own the other 2 cars & need to sell them & refinance the zo6 before I have to make that 1st monster payment. If you know anyone who is intersted in either one in Lubbock, steer them my way. Have a good one!

Congrats on the new ride! That's a great pic. I like the silver.
If you haven't already, take it out on some twisty roads. You'll be amazed at how well it sticks in the curves. They've come a long way.

Thanks for the compliments. I am really enjoying it. Unfortunantly as AAron also knows, twisty roads are not to commom in the great plains of Texas. It's one giant cotton field. But it does handle like it is on rails though. My wife & I made the decision to keep the 76 also, it's too hard to part with it, so I will just have to work more O.T. to make that payment on the new one.

Great to hear you're going to keep your 76. I don't really live in the land of curves either. There are several curvy country roads around here that last for maybe 15 miles or so each. But you don't have to have lots of curves to feel the handling of the Z06. Try charging up to a few stop signs or stop lights. Or try a few exit ramps with a curve in them with maybe a stop sign at the end. Once you get a little brave it's really a jaw dropper. I was totally amazed! Try this on dry pavement only though, the stock tires reportedly aren't great on wet roads.

Wow! That car looks awesome! I am contemplating getting another toy next year after I finish Project: Metalbeast. Either a C5 or a 97+ Cobra. Ofcourse, the Vette and the Camaro are NOT going anywhere!
