www.capitol.state.tx.us/statutes/docs/TN/content/htm/tn.007.00.000502.00.htm#502.404.00TRANSPORTATION CODE - CHAPTER 502 ,this will explain the law so you fully understand it,the law only states you have to have 2 license plates,it is not site specific as to where those license plates are to be mounted on the car,so do your self a favor and print this and keep it in your car,so if you do get pulled over you can read it to the officer and use that to get the ticket dismissed in court

Cool link. The sad thing is, the majority of cops out there don't fully understand the laws they're appointed to uphold. If you show this to a cop who pulls you over, he'll probably get mad because you've insulted his intelligence, and just look for other things to write you tickets for. He could care less wether or not your actually guilty of the offenses that he sites you for. He knows you have to go to court and fight it, and that you'll probably wind up paying the tickets to avoid missing work, or paying attorneys fees.

Raymond true raymond,i would just use it "if" you go to court and fight it,if everyone in our f-body community would fight these tickets they would stop harrassing us about our license plates

Or you could move to Florida. Just one plate and you keep it from car to car.
