Took my learner's permit for my motorcycle Tuesday. After a 2.5 hour wait, I took the test and passed! I will now be riding an 04 R6 on weekends up around my house. Hope to take my full permit this winter. Plan for next year is to get a bike or a 97+ Cobra, depending on what happens next year. Anyone else here ride?

I am a pretty cautious driver. But I know what you mean. Sometimes you just get too much testostorone in your system and you do stupid crap. Hopefully I'll get to ride some this weekend. I will post some pics. I live up in the North Ga mountains and some of the best roads to ride bikes on are litterally just around the corner.

it got me busted once at a stop light.....2 BLAZIN hot chick in a drop top were staring at the car hard.... driver leans over and says " that car is like SEX! how much power does she have?"
and me being a DUMBASS flips on the line loc and says "this much" followed by a perfect john force style burnout that i held thru 1st 2nd and 3rd gear and the light turned green so i flipped off the line loc and rode it out thru the intersection...
it would have been the highlight of my day if i did not see blue lights comming out of the wall of smoke i left.....DOH!!!!!
got busted !!!! as the girls drove by they waved and cheered, but at that point i wanted them to get in a wreck not wave....lmao....

Dang man! You think that would have at least flashed you a shot of their tatas ;D No Sh!t thats the least they could've done but I have a sneaking suspition they new the cop was there. Sucks about the ticket man. We've all been guilty of doing somthing testosterone induced that more often than not involves our car. There's just somthing about these cars. GM shoulda put a warning on them "Caution, Will make you c0cky while driving".

I talked to my brother today before you and I went on the river. He said he is bringing it up this week. We should try to go for a ride up to Suches!

Congrats, Jeff!!!
Sounds cool -- just take care of yourself. I'm not so much worried about you on the bike, but rather, the idiots in all the cars that don't watch what they are doing.
My brother has three motorcycles now I believe. He actually started flat-track racing this year, and so far, he's ranked 2nd in the nation. It's pretty fun to watch them race. He wants me to learn how to ride so that we can go cruising around town, but I don't know. I rode his Honda CBR 900RR up and down the street a few times -- it's just weird having the clutch in your hand instead of on the foot. I accidentally blipped the throttle, and it about threw me off the bike. I'm with Jaberwaki though -- I'd have to get a cruiser, not a sport-bike.
Ride safe guys!

That is just asinine. I am not like that. Hopefully I will get some drive time in this coming weekend.
