Looking at the pictures of this storm, it looks absolutely brutal! The worst I have ever seen. New Orleans is being completely evacuated! I hope noone on this site has loved ones along the gulf coat. God bless all that do!

This hurricane will be a record breaking storm! I live in Ft. Walton Beach, Fl. My brother lives in Harahan, La. Wich is part of New Orleans. They have left the area all ready. The pressure is down to 902mb. Has 175 mph winds at ground level. 184 mph winds higher up. Right now I'm up in Richmond, Va. working. So I'm not at my house. I do have a nother brother there and my folks. I just hope the water level dosen't go over the levee's in New Orleans!

Alot of people that can't leave New Orleans are taking shelter at the Superdome. It is 20 ft above sea level and can sustain 200 mph winds.
