which one is better or worse? Depends on why you want them. The hardcore roadrace guys I have talked to will tell you to get plain rotors, no slots, no holes. They have tried them all and they get the best results from plain solid rotors, and they are inexpensive. Rotors are basically a big heat sink. When you drill or cast holes in them, you are removing material and decreasing the efficiency of the heat sink. They were more necessary with older style pads to relieve the gas buildup between the rotor and pad. Today's modern carbon-metallic pads don't have this problem. Additionally, perforations in the rotor will allow cracks to form as they are constantly heated and cooled. You definitely don't want a rotor to fragment on you. If you want them just for looks, then you can't beat the cross-drilled, they just look cool.

Like 1bad2kta said, the drilled rotors will crack from the holes... From a durability standpoint, the plain rotors are the best. But if you really need some braking improvement I'd say go slotted... BTW drilled rotors are supposed to be patterned so the path of the holes are never directly aligned on the pad without other holes sharing/crossing the same path to prevent grooving the pads. Most of the cheap drilled rotors for F-bods do not have patterns like that and they groove the crap out of the pads. Ive personally experienced this with the drilled rotors from summit on my rear axle. If that wasnt clearly explained, Ill try to get a pic that shows what Im talking about.
