About a month ago we found a tan/white pitbull mix. It may be full blooded, I am no expert, but her face is droopy and wrinkled, not tight like a normal pitbull. Same body and facial structure. She came up to myself, the wife, and our daughter while we were sitting on the front porch. She looked pitiful. Literally covered with swollen ticks, very skinny, and had scarring on her body, ears and face with dried blood. I am guessing she was abandoned in the woods. I guess she started hanging around because we dump scrap leftover food out near the woods. We gave a her a flea and tick bath and started feeding her and now she looks much better. Vicious beast... will lick you to death!

We bought her toys, a doghouse, tag, and collar, etc. My 9 year old daughter named her Tootsie. Made her a vet appointment for the end of this month. No pics as of yet as we haven't taken any. Will try to put one up later.

That is awesome! That reminds me of a show called Animal Cops I watched that had a neglected pitbull that they found living in a filthy apartment complex basement in New York. Some people are just plain cruel.

Sounds like a great dog Joe (pitbull's get a bad wrap if you ask me ). I just read the thread you posted on TFS. Glad to hear she came home, I also thought that someone may have stolen her. Post some pics when you can
