Anyone know of any company names that are funny or strange?
I'll start out with this one. Has anyone heard of the homo bearing company? It is a german company. homo is I think initials for something. That is one of the main bearing brands that we use on the elec. motors that we rebuild at work. The guys at work have told me that before I started working there that a homo rep. came to the shap & conducted a seminar on bearings. At the end of the class he passed out "homo" caps. (Kind of a tradition exchanging hats with co. logos) To this day I have never seen anyone wear a "homo" cap. Christmas is comming up & I need to start saving homo boxes to put gifts in. They have the word "homo" all over them. If any of you have pulled your water pump drive on your lt1 look at the outer race of the bearing it will be stamped with "homo" & the bearing # Funny how in the US things are diffrent than other countries. Went to England in '98 & there they call cigarettes "homos" I guess the automatic editer got ahold of this. Just sub the other word for "homo" that starts with an "F" instead .

There was a hair salon around here a few years back, called "Curl Up and Dye". I thought it was clever... Edit -- Ok, if we're only going for perverted names, there's a "Chef Wang's Chinese Restaurant" down the street. (Although, as I understand it, the chinese would pronounce this as 'wong'.) I've never been to either of the aforementioned places. I swear...

Down in the Keys, there's a roofing company called Bikini Bobs(maybe Jims, I cant remember) Roofing... Not so funny right? Well you gotta see him roofing, or just hanging out at the local bar... He always wears a thong bikini. In fact, I dont think he owns any regular clothes at all. I cant find it now, but we took a pic of his truck with the signs on it... We were down there partying one weekend and saw this guy doing a roof, we were all like "what the fu(k is this guy doing?" Then his help showed up, a tall and toothpick skinny black guy also wearing a thong bikini!! Later that night at a bar, we saw him in a thong ordering a drink... So we started asking locals who told us that he's been doing roofs and such in his bikini for years down there... Talk about a weird place to go, everything in the keys is off the wall!
