for the first time. it was different. not to bad though. getting the torque tube to spline and putting the rear suspension/transaxle back in place is a 2 person job though.

yeah most tranny work is a 2 man job. still fun.

a customer at my buddies shop. he hadnt had the car very long. my best friend works there and when i showed up he had most of it torn down. then we put it back together, i did free labor yesterday. i got some beer out of it though.

but did you have some fun helping out a friend? it works...cool!
and most of the time when my husband is doing tranny's, he's by himself.
most everyone with a f-body calls or emails him to do theirs, along with any
other work needed. i am very proud to say he has built a reputation for himself,
when it comes to being able to do anything to a f-body.

yeah, he and I have been working on cars together for 10 years. so we work together really well. he's one of the most respected hot rod mechanics in this area. he normally charges people a lot to work on their cars. we work as a team on each others stuff. i help him with his/customer cars and he helps me with mine. he's a really good mechanic, he can build/fix anything. he has one of the nicest mustangs around, and it runs 8s.

so where is the location of these flowers you are watching over? lol. some queer newbie whos now banned called me a pansy moderator because i called his mechanic a dumbass for not being able to put in a tranny mount. so the flowers are the board members that i am being tolerant of. |
