95 caprice have either a 260 hp LT1 w/ iron heads, or a 4.3L L99 w/ 205HP and iron heads. they both come with a 4L60E the one for the L99 is a little lighter duty. the way to tell is postion 8 will have a W for L99 or a P for the LT1

oh and they have OBD1 computers which are cheaper and easier to mess with. i got a cable for $40 and the program for $50
