i came to see my dad for a few days. sorry i didnt let some of you texans know sooner. just havent been on the computer. probably leaving on tuesday morning tho, to head beck to the coast.

yeah i was supposed to be in houston this past weekend but had to buy 2 new tires and shot that idea out of the water.

i had to come home a couple days earlier than i had wanted to, family needed me here. so i cut my personal leave short. but i would have really liked to meet up with some of you guys. i saw plenty of birds and camaros, and a few mudstanes...lol! almost went to baytown to race, didnt make it because my neice got bit by a brown recluse spider. she came close to losing her hand. maybe next time. im going to try to make another trip this summer. maybe we can set something up then.

That sucks about your niece getting bit, glad to hear she's ok. Those brown recluses can be nasty little bastards.

yeah those spiders arent happy, had a friend that got bit by one, and they used leaper medicine on him and it worked real good.

well i did my gas and milage numbers. here they are.... gas $205.27 gallons 85.809 miles 1905.5 m.p.g. 22.206 (if i did the math right) not to bad for my old girl. and most of the time my speed was between 70-90. but mostly 85. and id love to do it again this summer. maybe go back and do some racing with my dad. must remember to take the drag radials with me tho. baytown is 10 minutes from his house. sorry i typed in the wrong numbers.

i cant wait till i get out of school so i can bring my camaro out of the barn, and take it out to the strip again. this time in Houston.

Those numbers are not bad at all. My little 4.3L gets about the same as you in my light S10.
