Well, I figure I post some of my other crap music here, so why not bore everyone with more? hometown.aol.com/alex94tagt/DAItribute.mp3Not finished, but they never really are. Levels are off and it sounds a bit muddy in spots -- just ignore it... [EDIT] Actually, I take that back. If you're listening on open speakers, the levels are WAY WAY WAY off. I apparently set the bass drum levels to "SHATTER GLASS". (I wrote it using headphones, which tones it down a notch...) Whoops.

No, none of the instruments you're hearing are real. They are computer generated. Here's a screenshot of the program I use to compose music -- just a bunch of knobs, switches, and piano rolls: hometown.aol.com/alex94tagt/flstudio.jpgI wrote and edited every single note you're hearing (which took 5~10 hours of work), but I'm not physically playing those instruments in the song. However, I've been playing drumset for about 9 years now, and I've screwed around on piano for just about as long. I was in a drumline for four years, and played cornet for roughly five years. That's how I form most of these songs -- I physically play them on piano first, then transcribe it into this program to put everything together. I haven't messed with it yet, but I do have the option of recording myself on drumset/piano and placing it into the program -- essentially creating a one-man band. But, it's very difficult to get everything transfered & have it sync up correctly. Maybe I'll record a "real" drum solo of me and post it here sometime. It's quite different from what you're hearing in the watered-down program...
