a guy i know made 415rwhp with his 383 inch lt1. so everyone i know is deep throating him. the car is an m6 car and went 12.30s@112. wow. the car is not only 20 rwhp down from where the technology was in 1997, but its also trapping 11mph less then it should. i wanted to congratulate him on having the most unimpressive 12:1 383 ive ever seen. some people amaze me.

Nothing wrong with being a dyno queen. I was with my v6 Now that I have the v8 though I want to backup the #s at the track. I haven't even dynoed the car yet though.

Might want to know a little about the car before you roll the eyes.... It was a turbo V6 and it was putting around ~350ish at the wheels. Don't remember the torque though. Once radcat sees this, he can tell you for sure. I don't remember the exact numbers.

It sure held it's own vs ls1s on the highway though. At the time it was the most hp and tq of any DD 3.8l v6 with stock tuning and stock internals that I have ever heard of. It put down 349hp and 415tq. Didn't even get a full pull because it maxed out the maf at ~4400 rpms. Only guy higher than me that I know of had the same setup but had tuning and a 50 shot. I think he made around 380hp and 440tq.

That's pretty cool...I almost traded my Impala for a GN. Didn't work out though.
