after 94K miles, 12 years and over 150 1/8 mile passes on drag radials in the past 2 years, my stock clutch has finally started to slip. who says these cars arent durable?

my '01 took a lot of punishment but not many miles before it started slipping, it didnt like the heads and cam my '98 with bolt ons ran like a champ untill the 3rd owner.

GM makes good durable cars... As long as its not a durable automatic that your looking for.

yeah the 7.5 sux
yet on all the 2nd gens they came with standard, a 8.5" 10 bolt, some years you could get a 12 bolt.
but using the same rearend from '82-'02 will do that to ya

weve had stock 7.5s with a girdle behind 400rwhp lt1s running high 11s.
