I just got word from Harold at Port Pros that my motor is done and on the way to its new home ;D I got the head flow sheets, and for stock LT1 castings these things are absolutely amazing! Here's a rundown of what we have going: Eagle 4340 crank Eagle H-beam rods SRP forged pistons Perfect Circle piston rings 4-bolt mains Clevite bearings ARP fastners on EVERYTHING Cometic head gaskets Comp XFI 230-236, 113 lsa, .575-.575 - 1.6 Comp narrow body 1.6 SA aluminum rockers Comp R series lifters Port Pros Stg 2 heads Int flow at 28" H2O 2.020" valve .050 = 36.8 .100 = 71.8 .150 = 111.3 .200 = 143.9 .250 = 167.7 .300 = 191.7 .350 = 216.6 .400 = 240.2 .450 = 262.2 .500 = 273.1 .550 = 284.9 .600 = 287.3 .650 = 287.9 Exhaust Flow @ 28" H2O .050 = 28.4 .100 = 60.2 .150 = 90.2 .200 = 112.4 .250 = 131.5 .300 = 150.8 .350 = 165.1 .400 = 176.6 .450 = 185.4 .500 = 190.8 .550 = 193.2 .600 = 195.4 .650 = 200.8 We were going for 650 rwhp (750-760ish flywheel)... I dont think there's gonna be a problem getting that, especially since the compression is set at 9.0:1 which should allow for 15psi worth of boost ;D Now just to get the rest of my fuel system stuff so I can get it all installed and fired up when the motor arrives. As soon as its broken in, I'll be goin to the dyno for some tuning! I cant wait to feel some power, Ive been jonesing pretty bad lately

d@mn I just pm'd you... Thanks for recommending Harold, it has been great dealing with him. He said they came out to be closer to stg 3's than his average stg 2's. No complaints here, the more HP the merrier! Even though I think I might have to rethink the fuel system yet again

Nope, weve been waiting forever for the rockers from comp... They were on backorder but should be there by now (shipped overnight from comp to harold 2/2/06) Hopefully that means the motor is shipping very soon.

Hey Justin. If it's possible, try to take some high quality pictures of your motor before it goes in the car. I'd like to have a better LT1 picture for the banner.

Will do... Ive arranged to borrow a buddys digital camera for the motor pics, as well as some new ones of my car. My camcorder/digital camera sucks for resolution on digital pics.
