Well, I havent been around here much lately... But Ive been up to alot of things so thats my excuse ;D Im almost done with this latest round of mods on my car, and ran across a deal on a house this past monday that I couldnt pass up. So I made an offer, and should know by tomorrow at noon whether the seller is going to accept my offer or not. Here's a little about the house; Its a 3 bedroom - 2 bath home, with a detached 2 car garage (24x24). The house sits on one 80x120 lot while the garage sits on another lot of equal size. And the house comes with a 3rd 80x120 lot on the other side of it. My plan is to rent out the house Im currently living in, so that it will basically pay for itself. And were gonna get the mortgage on the new house a little over whats needed to purchase so we can pay off the TA and all the misc bills that plague us month by month. If this deal goes through, I will be the proud owner of two houses and a total of 4 lots. Not bad for a 23 year old Sooo, Ill probably be really busy for the next month with the purchase of this house, moving, fixing the old house/getting it ready for renters, working, etc. And my cars gonna have to be put on the back-burner in the mean time Dont worry, I havent lost motivation on the car yet, so as soon as were settled the TA will be again getting my undivided attention! Anyway, just figured Id post up and let ya'll know what Ive been up to.

Thanks... We made an offer to the seller this morning, and got a counter-offer back this afternoon. So of course we countered that with an offer halfway between what we wanted to pay and what they said they would take. Should know their answer by tomorrow morning so we'll soon find out. Of course this all depends on the bank... Who said the credit rating was fine but cannot give us an answer till Monday. Im really looking forward to having some garage space for my baby though This one car Florida garage crap just isnt cutting it anymore.

We had a few unexpected turn of events that almost ruined the whole deal. We originally planned to rent my old house out and therefore not have to sell. We even had a renter ready to go... The renter backed out, making the whole situation pretty F'd up... Then we had someone who wanted to buy our house and close on it before the closing date for the new house. Which would have made things go sweetly. But that guy backed out last minute and we almost had to give up dibs on the house and our retainer money. We've got some contingency worked out now and the plan is to sell my old house... So its going on the market by the end of the week and we just got the Pre-Approval letter from the bank so everythings a go. And we should be closing by the 27th of July!!!!! Rest assured, I will post up some pics of my baby sitting in her nice cozy new garage

Roller coaster is a pretty good description for it! Anyway, our set closing date is the 17th of next month... We'll see if that goes according to schedule.
Still not sure if we'll be able to keep the old house, because money will be tight even with renters paying monthly. God forbid we end up having bums that wont pay on time or anything like that... Were talking with a leasing company now to see if were gonna be willing to take the risk just to keep the old house. If that deal looks promising enough we'll keep it. If not we'll be promptly putting it on the market for sale. Either way I'll be in the new one by the end of next month! Then I'll finish my car and finally get it tuned on the dyno!

Finally, We closed on the new place today!!!! And we just got word last week of a cash buyer for our old house. No thingying around on this one, we close on that sale next Friday!
Anyway, we got about a week to get everything moved and the old house cleaned up, so Im gonna be extremely busy making the new place my own... But once I do and everything's settled, I'll post up some pics.
Going to spend the night there tonight cleaning all the old people junk outta the garage and prepping the floor to be epoxy coated (Rustoleum Garage Coating). Then I'll move all my toys in there and start working on the TA again.
So the roller coaster ride is on its last leg and will be over by next friday when we close on the sold house. (What a LOOONG ride!) Its been exciting nonetheless.

Thanks for the congrats man! Your more than welcome to come stay! Just as long as you dont mind being in the 'spare' bedroom, which is probably gonna be my 3yrolds toy/play room. Thats if Pt.Charlotte is were you wanna go in FL, this place is dead... Compared to the vacation hotspots like Tampa, Sarasota, Ft.Myers, etc. anyway. Only people that come here on vacation have grey hair, usually need a walker or wheelchair to get around, and drive like they just got there license yesterday Anyway, pics are probably a week or two away, but I'll post em up when I can.
