Heres a test from the same mag. on the 04 Z. What I think is cool is that it is identical to mine. I am really shocked with the et.s that they got out of it. I cannot imagine what it would feel like with the 100 or so extra horses from the 06 Z. If you ever get an opertunity to drive a ZO6 take it, as it is unbelievable the all around peformance of these cars. They do about everything perfect. Putting around they are just as docile as can be but step on the gas & when you pass 2500 or so the nose comes up & the engine goes into the Mr Hyde mode & flat screams. My Formula was fairly quick, probobly mid 13's & the LT1 does have more grunt down low than the LSx engines ,but the Ls6 has explosive mid & top end power. Maybe my guy at the Chevy dealership will let me test drive a 06 Z when & if they ever get one in. Anyway I really like my ZO6. www.gmhightechperformance.com/features/0410htp_zo/index.html |

I would love to own an 02-04 Z06. Looks like my next purchase is going to be an 03-04 Cobra though.

I would love to have either a C5 or C6 Z06, but they are both still far from my price range. I am in love with the 03-04 Cobras so I will probably be picking one up in late 06 or early 07.
