Next month, the National Corvette Museum will be hosting the Camaro/Firebird Reunion in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Its one of the biggest F-body meets in the country. www.corvettemuseum.com/registration/f-body/info.shtmlI will be attending this event along with several of my close friends on LS1tech. Anyone else plan on going? It looks like it is going to be an absolute blast! |

Looks like everyone is staying at the Country Hearth Inn. I just reserved a room. Its right across the street from the event.

say hi to scott settlemire for me i know you did not just ask who Scott Settlemire is?? should i go off on him or should i just sit back and wait for the bashing to start. oh hell, i cant just sit back and wait.....he is known as "The FBody Father" and he used to run the camaro dept. for chevy. he still works for GM. this is just for starters. yes, this girl knows her stuff. |

DOH  I know who that is. I forgot his name. I met him at G-9 back in May. Have you ever met him? One of the nicest guys I have ever met. We were sitting out in stadium chairs at the car show that Saturday night about 10 o'clock drinking some beer. My buddy Steve, who is a Corvette salesman for Maxie Price, saw him and called him over. He sat down and talked to us for at least 2 hours about where GM is going with the Camaro. |

cool!! i bet that just made you night.
no we havent met him, but we have met the guys who designed the new vette.
we met them at the ritz carlton, in fernandina bch, fl. they had the car here for a
big time car show.
im sorry i forget their names. i have slept since then, and we met so many people
that day. we sat in on a GM seminar about the 50th anniv. on the small block.
watched an auction, bought some pics, and socialized with some hi-on-the-totum-pole
people. the only bad thing was the wind started blowing and i was wearing a dress,
d@mn it got cold at the beach. thank god they had a bar with plenty of Jack Daniels.

Well, it looks like my buddy Nick will be picking me up at 4 Thursday morning to head up to Bowling Green. Luckily, Docspeed is going to be off this week I will be staying at his house, which is just 5 minutes from my buddy Nick. Otherwise, I would have to get up an hour earlier to meet Nick.

Well, its 3:45 A.M. on Thursday morning. Nick should be by to pick me up anytime now. I am really excited. Looks like I will talk to everyone again on Saturday.
