I also love to blast sirius at home on the surround sound to octane 20. Awesome station! I have it at home through dish network and I just bought the Sirius car unit for my wifes car and it is worth every nickel. They play all the good stuff that you don't hear on the radio. I have heard from a couple of buddies at work that Sirius is the best satellite radio available so far.

I am seriously (no pun intended) contemplating getting Sirius. I live in the mountains and radio reception is pretty bad.

Its either a $40 or $50 for Sirius right now.

that sirius for the car how does it work you by a whole new stereo or just an adapter? The new units, like the one I bought my wife, are equipped with a FM transmitter. You pick the station that you want the sirius unit to transmitt to, then dial it in on your radio. The sirius unit however has its on antenna that you must mount close to a window in the vehicle for proper reception. I am not sure if you can use your vehicle antenna, I just thought it was an easy hookup due to the fact that I didn't have to remove the head unit in my wifes car.

The starmate cost me $50 after the rebate and serive runs around $12 a month I think if you pay for a whole year in advance.
