There's a lot of talk right now about Edlebrock coming out with an LT1 and an LT4 intake manifold within the next couple of months. I wouldn't doubt it this time around. If you didn't know, Edelbrock did cast one LT1 intake manifold about a decade ago. I saw a picture of it about 3 years ago, and called Edelbrock to inquire about it. They said the picture that I saw was of the prototype, and that it never went into production. Now that GM Performance Parts no longer offers an LT4 intake manifold, (as far as I know these were made by Edelbrock) it would appear that Edelbrock has no competition. For whatever reason, there is still a demand. LT4 intake manifolds are going for a lot of money. Some have sold for over $1,000 on E-bay recently. Assuming Edelbrock isn't bound by contract, I don't see why they wouldn't start to produce them. I guess we'll have to wait and see. Here's a pic of an add that has been floating around the net: -+-Win32##Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.12) Gecko/20050915 Firefox/1.0.7 (ax)##1024 × 768##1-+-

This sounds pretty good. Wonder what kind of power gains it would produce and how much it will go for.

The only real benefit I can imagine is the AirGap idea. How much better can the design be? Maybe the casting is better to result in better flow, maybe it's been ported to accept a 58mm TB, and you can probably get the Endurashine finish.... but how much does all of that add up to in numbers?? Can't wait to see someone's results from that thing, cause I can't afford one. -+-Win32##Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0##1024 × 768##1-+-

That is very interesting indeed... I would definitely be interested in hearing of peoples results with this item... It looks cool, and the endura shine finish would look even cooler. Anyone have factory dimensions of LT1/4 intakes to compare to the dimensions listed for that Edlebrock? Maybe its slightly taller to provide more plenum volume or runner length...
