That is hillarious, Clem. How much pressure do run the ET Streets on the street, and do you drive them on the street a lot? I have some I have never put on yet and just wondering how streetable they are and at what pressure. Thanks

Thanks when i was younger i used to run around on slicks all the time. these arent quite as stable as drag radials, but better then slicks. since the treadwidth is 8" and rim is 8" they are more stable then the 26-10.5 (8" tread) sportsman pros i used to run on my 7" wide mustang wheels. they arent bad. i had to drive them in the rain this weekend. just drove it slow. ive had some skinnies scare the $hit out of my in the rain though. ill never do that again, skinnies arent for street use IMO. i havent taken the ET streets off yet. ive put a couple hundred miles on them and keep 20 psi in them. i bought a bottle is dish soap and used a paint brush to go over the inside of the tire so they hold air like a radial. i put 2 coats inside each tire and let them dry between coats.

Interesting. Good tip on the dish soap. Unfortunately, mine are already mounted. I have 26x11.5s on my stock 17x9 rims. They look to be a near perfect straight up and down match (no bulge). I don't plan to run them on the street much, mainly just to and from the track, about 10 miles each way. But you think 20 psi is enough for the street? Never launched on them either. Where is a good starting place for that, 15psi? Thanks

i run 20 on the street because the contact patch looked pretty good at that pressure. at the track id probably start at 15-16lbs hot. those 26-11.5-17s probably wont hook your car up that well though. id probably put a 28-12.5-15 et street (or a 28-10.5-15 et drag) under it with with a 15x10 rim.

Will all 15s clear the calipers, just certain ones, or do they all require spacers? What size.

Awesome kill. You are doing something right if you cant take an AWD, especially a WRX, off the line.

Stock, those base model WRX's are really slow. My buddy Josh ruined our buddy Adams ego one weekend. Adam buys this brand new base model WRX. So he call's us up, and is talkin this and that about it. He finally drove up form Corpus Christi one weekend. I ran my mouth for about 5 minutes, and instigated a race. At the time Josh was rollin' an LT1 TA with some bolt ons. Nothin major. I beleive the WRX had a cat back. Josh handed Adam his @$$ REAL BAD! Adam couldn't beleive it. He was so disappointed, he drove home that night, and didn't even stay the rest of the weekend! LOL!!! The sad thing is, Adam used to own an 81' Camaro with a WICKED solid cam, 8,000 RPM 396 big block. Why he went back to imports, we'll never know.

Probably because a solid lifter 8k big block would pretty much suck on the street. ;D It probably got 5 mpg going downhill with a 20 mph tailwind, and wouldn't idle por nada. Hee hee
