I recently installed a new clutch, throwout bearing, master cylinder, and I had the flywheel resurfaced. Now it is all back in and I have no reverse, all the other gears are fine but there is no reverse. This transmission is out of a 95 Camaro z28, and I put it into my 85 Iroc. It had been in it for almost 2 years and I had to replace the clutch due to excessive wear so I know there were issues with that before. My real problem though is reverse. When I pulled it into the garage I had reverse, I didnt touch anything other than the things that I listed that I replaced. I am wondering if this is an issue with the rod not traveling far enough at the pedal? or if something down in the clutch isnt right? Or if something inside the tranny is messed up(which would be weird considering it was fine when I parked it to do the work). If anyone has any ideas on what could be going on and what I can do to fix it please let me know!
Also if you know any of the factory specs on cllutch pedal travel and pushrod distance travel I would really appreciate it.
Thanks!
