Ive heard of a kit that stops the bump, but couldnt tell you who or where. On my 96 TA the pacesetter ORY was hitting the floor when I first installed it... Polyurethane motor and tranny mounts fixed it for me. The limited the flex allowed by the stockers and therefore got rid of the bump. Others have just wedged a piece of heater hose in between there (cheap, quick, temporary at most) to get rid of the noise.

Remove the cats Mine hit too. I removed the cats and it stopped. I think it was the drivers side one that was hitting on me.

Wow! And it's still hitting under neath? Might check the tyranny mount. I had a 95 TA that had a knocking noise. Couldn't find it until I replaced the shocks. Turned out it was the back pass side one.

bumpstop from thunderracing might help, it did with mine no more bumping the floorboard. Thats the kit I was thinking of... It basically limits the travel of the pipe so it cant hit the floor. I solved my bumping problem with solid motor mounts and a poly trans mount.
