I had a 1995 caprice cop car with the lt1. This car boogied. I sold the car because a found a 1994 Buick with the lt1 motor with a lot less milage. Is there any way that I can reprogram the computer to the specks that the police package had in the 1995??Any help in this matter will be appreciated. Thanks

Do both cars have LT1's? Are you sure that 94 Buick motor isnt the 'baby LT1' 4.3 liter engine?

the buicks and Cadillacs never came with the L99 4.3 motor. they were bigger cars hence the D-body not the B-body. so will it ever move like your caprice, not with out work.
as to the computer, on LS1s i know they claimed diffrent programing, but in reality there wasnt.
now that said you can get new programing for 91 octane and some other stuff done, i know Brian over at PCM4less does good work. this would help its get up and go, but 91 octane aint cheap
