i got a stock 93 z. just bought it. what i want to know is i work at a exhaust palce, and my boss looked at my car and said its hard to do true duals because of the pan hard bar position. i an not that experice with custom exhaust but i was lookin at it and thought its possible to do it with the panhard bar there...can anyone help? does the pandhard bar need to be repositoned or anything? or can i run true duals with everything how it is???

i have seen people take off the pan hard bar support brace but if you do any autoXing that isnt that great of an idea.
the support brace is just above the pan hard

BMR makes a kit to relocate the PHB and support brace. It supposedly allows the room for 2 - 3" pipes to clear. I've been considering it, cause my 4" mufflex intermediate pipe sometimes rubs on that brace making a nasty rattle. Go check it out a www.bmrfabrication.comBeware, its expensive!

But most people just do true duals by way of longtubes, x-pipe, bullet mufflers, turndowns in front of the rear axle. Actually they end up about right under the rear seats.
