If the IAT sensor is unplugged, can it cause multiple missfires? Or would it be more likely that the rotor cap is cracked? Or possibly the MAF sensors wires are shorted? What do you guys think?

Im 99% sure it is the ignition, but where is the question. I just replaced the coil with a MSD version and all the sensors for the evap system. Still missfires, but that could be due to the plugs possibly being carbon fouled again. What it the correct way to install a after market vacuum canister from jegs? I have a pretty big cam and I need this to get my brakes working again. Hopefully after having my vacuum reserve up to par it will fix/reveal other vacuum related issues Thanks.

Well I replaced all the sensors and valves that have to do with the Evap system except the Charcol canister. I great way better gas mileage! Before I would barley get a 150 miles per tank. i now get over 200!!! Thats driving around town! I also replaced the stock ignition coil with one from MSD. talk about about a night and day difference. My car feels like added about 30 hp or so. I was still spinning the tires in 4th. Man that felt great! I wonder if the previous coil was faulty, I just replaced it about 8 months ago. Hmm. Anyway I am still haviing that missfire problem, I am now wondering if the plugs are carbon fouled because of the bad EGR and low spark output? I am going to try changing the plugs, if that doesn't do it, then the wires. I noticed that ever since I have installed the vacuum canister for my brakes, the engine is running smoother. But I can now hear the missfire through the headers on bank 2. It's an annoying ticking noise. Well I will let everyone know what happens next. Thanks
Anthony

Is it throwing any codes? Sounds like the bank 2 O2 sensor might be bad.

Just the p0300 for multiple missfires. It's been doing that along with the flashing check engine light (ses) for quit some time now.
