Does anyone have this program that they can run this engine combo to get a hp/torque estimite?
been thinking about getting a new shortblock for the 76 vette.
Anyway here's the combo
ZZ4 shortblock 9.75 comp w/64cc heads Edelbrock peformer RPM heads 64cc (not by choice but I already have a set) Lt4 hot cam (left over from my previous Formula) 1.6 rockers peformer Rpm air gap intake. 650 demon carb (undecided at this piont) 1 5/8 headers Does this sound like a good combo? keep in mind that the the car is equiped with a th350 with 2000 stall & a 3.08 gear ( that I don't want to change) So I think that this cam is about perfect, as it is fairly mild. I realize that a 383 would probobly be a better choice but $$ are tight. Thanks

the ZZ4 isnt a bad short block but for the price you can get more for your money rebuilding your stock short block. but this would mean staing flat tap lifters, which arent bad. if moneys tight this is what id do.
but barring that yeah that would be a decent combo to start off. you should be looking at a bit more than a complete ZZ4 produces, so in the 375-390 range.

I could run it on desktop dyno, but I need more specs... PM me with cylinder head flow numbers and cam specs (IVO,IVC, EVO, EVC degrees, lift, and duration @.050) The desktop dyno is a pretty good program, but the way it needs cam specs is a pain in the ss. You cant just use the advertised cam specs(lift, duration, lobe separation angle)
