If i decided to run nitrious on my 355 with forged pistons, how big of a shot could i run on a stock bottom end LT1? without havin a fear with the crank droppin out from under me haha

I would second the "not on pump gas" thought. Mybe on 94 Sunoco if you can get that but I'd feel safer with 100 unleaded. Other than that I'd say yes. Make sure you injectors are up to snuff. can i run a 50 dry shot on a stock internal lt1 with 8 psi at 5500 feet elevation and not worry about blowing stuff up?

That depends on several factors. How good is the balance? Was there any prep work done to the shortblock or crank. Generally, I'd feel comfortable running at least a 150 shot and If I had studs in the bottom end and good machine work/assembly with good rod bolts I would take it to 200. Providing the tune on the nitrous is safe.
