I really dont think they are the same. I am not a fan of nitrous plates on LT1's. I prefer a single nozzle before the t-body or even better a direct port fogger. The plates just dont seem to have time to distribute properly....especially on the front two cylinders. Just my .02 ....
Can anyone else elaborate here about the bolt pattern for the t-body? I am not 100 %.

Not sure about the bolt pattern but I will agree on the nozzle over a plate. Ideally, the distribution point should be 6-8 inches from the throttle opening. Otherwise the front cylinders are much leaner that the rears. Plates don't have the distance to atomize for those fronts.

PS I have a plate system from NOS designed for a TPI. The plate bolts to the LT1 intake BUT the plate is 58 mm.
So you MUST bore the LT1 throttle body holes in the intake to 58 MM. This work REQUIRES the intake be REMOVED from the engine!
IF you try to bore it in place you will never get all the metal shavings and the more will be destroyed in a couple thousand miles.
Good luck
PS Since I have the plate system you might guess that I feel it is safe for small shots <150.

Yes the bolt pattern is exactly the same. I agree, no plates.
