out of the 3 id run the turbo technology kit. i was very satisfied with their street kit i had on one of my mustangs. i had the kit on the car for 5 years. honestly, the compression is so high on an lt1, to get any real gains in power (by turning up the boost) you are gonna have to run race gas. 5lbs of boost aint $hit. id run a heads cam package instead.

not trying to be a smarta$$or anything, but on the STS turbo kit i find the specs to be
Boost: 7 psi Rear Wheel Horsepower: 394 %'d increase: 44%
Rear Wheel Torque: 449 %'d increase: 48%
so if i run 5psi i should be pushing 340rwhp... at least. i have about 3000k to spend in the bank NOW but i would save more to get what i need.. so if you recomend the turbo technology kit that is close to 5k dollars.. im leaning toward the STS turbo because it seems to be better.. remotely mounted and all. it also can put down ALOT of power to the wheels with a stock LT1 as the figures show.. so if this is a bad idea and i shouldnt.. some 1 speak up lol. and for a head/cam package what would that do 4 me? would it make my gas mileage better? because the STS turbo says it increases it 1-3mpg.

ive never run an STS kit, but i can tell you from general experience that if you dont have access to pcm software and a wideband air/fuel monitor to tune it with itll either be pig rich and not run a number or be way lean and only make a few good passes.
all that length of tubing between the heads and the compressor kills the egts. thats why i dont like the rear mount deal. as far as what the heads/cam package will do........im not even gonna bother. youve obviously already got your mind made up. have fun.

i did not mean to come across as being rude, or not considering other ideas. if you think it is better for me to go a different route other then a turbo / super charger then TELL ME please, i am only looking for what is best for me / my car.. i have read about head / cam packages but dont really understand what they are? my mind is pointed no way more then another so again im sorry if it came across as that because i was typin real fast so i could head off 2 work when i wrote it.. so if there is better options other then forced induction of any kind then tell me please and gimme a few examples of who makes them so i can do more research...

i have to agree with 94m6hardtop...dont run an sts kit. i too am looking at turbochargering the old ta, i live in tacoma, wa and turbo technology is right down the street. i've been down there and looked at there shop and its not too bad, the guy i talked to was a little dumb but im sure their products arent bad. as far as what i would suggest if you go with the turbo...a head and cam package couldnt hurt at all, when you call to order tell them what you plan to do and they should be able to get the right setup for ya. if you plan to run a decent amount of boost you'll need to drop your compression a bit. i could explain the whole head and cam package thing but i would talk to someone like Alex94tagt, he knows what he is talking about and can put it in to words that easy for anyone to understand. if you find any other websites for turbo kits for our cars please let me know.
