i like the ford 9" for strength and the ability to relatively quickly change the gears. but they leak.
the 12 bolt is great for a daily driver but for hard core racing i dont like it as well.
oh and i notice that they totally neglect my 8.5" 10 bolt. both my cars have them. great rear ends. they can handle almost as much power as a 12 bolt which is 8.875. and the 8.5 is in most 2nd gen camaros and firebirds.

I wonder why you never hear of 8.5" 10-bolts being built up... Actually I cant even remember when the last time was I even heard someone talk about trying to build one up for big power handling...

guys with 2nd gens and caprice owners talk about it a lot.
and there is not a torque arm mount on them either.
