We all have this hump in the LS1 and Lt1 cars. Makes the passenger floorboard quite uncomfortable. Has anyone removed it or heard of it done?

That would be the hump that is for catalytic converter clearance. I have thought a few times about hacking it up, but I don't think it would be worth the time... If you feel so inclined, feel free to be the pioneer to provide the template!

all you have to do is cut it out and tack in a new floorboard, but make sure you don't mess with the trans support bracket, because that's where it get's difficult.
