I just got my BMR weld-in SFC's put in. I really don't feel a huge difference, maybe a slight one if that and I own a vert. I'm sure they are helping out though. It just hurts to spend $300 dollars and not feel a real difference in the ride quality of your car.

just because you do not feel a big difference does not meen it is not helping the SFC's do alot for a car and even more if you are a t-top car

Boxed or Tubular?
Try going over some railroad tracks. The boxed versions helped my car tremendously (t-top).

I think my SLP weld on's are possibly the best investment I have made on my SS. ;D

The BMR weld-ins are tubular and they also tuck very nice. I have also noticed a significant increase in the stiffness of the ride, not to bad though.

UMI performance has boxed weld ins. I don't know how they are yet b/c I haven't driven my car yet since they were welded on. They are at a good price though. The sfc's don't affect suspension do they?

the boxed ones i noticed a major differance, but i lost some ground clearance for that. the tube ones no change in ground clearance but i noticed them less. but there were other factors that went into that, such as the '98 w/ boxed was a T-top, and the '01 w/ tubular was a hard top. but on convertables you wont notice as much because they already have beefed up unibodies. oh and they arent too bad to weld in. just practice welding before you do it. A good bead is a strong bead. and another tip paint the welds after they cool to keep from rusting

I have SLP's bolt in ones. I like them. I think they are keeping the car square. I have t-tops.
