No that's not me, That's my partner in Crime Steve Lesniak. He's a Mechanical Engineer and does alot of the fab work on the car. He built the stb, panhard bar brace, lower control arm brackets, fire bottle mount and together we notched and tacked the cage in. I had a professional chassis builder do the finish welding.
I'll give you a complete rundown. It's no secret at this point.
Callies Magnum 3.875" crank Oliver billet 6" rods Diamond custom SB2.2 nitrous pistons, coated 12.75-1 LT1 4 bolt block, billet Callies caps filled to freeze plugs Petty Racing SB2.2 heads, 287cc intake runners converted for reverse cooling Del West Ti valves 2.15/1.60 379 cfm @ .700 intake 262 cfm @ .700 exhaust T&D shaft rockers Comp springs, 260# seat 580# open Ti retainers Custom Isky lifters Smith Brothers pushrods Cam Motion SR 270/279 @.050" .720/.680 113lsa Lemons headers 2" primary / 4" collector Edelbrock SB2.2 intake Accufab 1250 cfm TB Seimens 83lb injectors NX STD nozzles, double rails, super shark solenoids Accel Gen 7 DFI Accel biilet distributor
Drivetrain is a G-Force T-56 with 9310 gears, input, 30 spline output and triple cone synchros. McLoed SFI bellhousing, push type street twin and a Viper throwout bearing.
I'll be running 106 NA and probably 116 nitrous
The entire system is built for and can handle a 400 shot....I have plans to go as high as 300 but you know that little saying, if a little is good, more is better then too much is just right. I'll be purchasing an NX progressive controller once I get past the 200 level.

Yeah, me too. The fact is, I have a bunch of other peoples money in it and that's good and bad. My dad actually owns the chassis. It's a combination of his and my money plus some sponsorship deals. It's good that it makes it easy to put a deal like this together but bad that you have to answer to other individuals. But all I care is I get to drive it ;D

Just got back from the engine shop. How's this look? Please ignore the factory accessory bracket and alternator. They're just there for some mock ups. There are some more new pics in the album. Here: community.webshots.com/album/292725360ZcDcxX

Actually that would be great. I have them on webshots but I can't seem to link to individual pics, just albums. How can we do this? Thanks.

Just let me know which pic or pics you like the most, and I can resize them, and then host them. I'll send you the links, then you can add the links or the pics to your posts.

Hey, is that a DFI distributor I see in the back of the motor?

Raymond, thank you. I'll let you know which ones I like. Only host as many as is good for you.
BTW, it is a DFI distributor. That's the way around the opti for me. Gen 7 with that distributor is all I need. It's even gonna be sequential. Don't need a crank trigger either.

Cool. I'm running GEN 7 also. I have the same distirbutor, but I haven't had a chance to use it yet. I need to have my stock LT1 intake modified to accept it. I can't wait. Finally, I can ditch my Opti!
