Just wondering what my estimated RWHP is. This is what I got. Moroso CAI, Flowmaster exhaust, Airfoil, TB bypass, Hypertech pro. III, and a 373 rear( IKnow this doesn't raise HP but I thought I'd add it anyway). I know it isn't much but what do you guys think? Planning on a head,cam package from Loyed E. but I've gotta address suspension and (possibly)some rear problems first. Dave

to accuratly calculate it id need the cars weight and 1/4 mile trap speed.

headers are a must, i have loyds heads and they are awesome, i used a 230/236 xe cam and all the bolt ons and made 394rwhp before my custom tune. good luck. but remember once you start modding these cars it never stops. take care

What was your HP after? I have to admit I was kinda bummed about the 265 HP estimate, but if thats what your getting to the rear wheels then youv'e just reiforced my desision to go with Loyde. Oh and Hardtops sorry for not responding to your post, it's cause I don't know the weight of the car and I've never taken it to the track and don't really plan on it(I'm not much of a race car driver), I just want to show the occasional ricer that a four banger(or six for that matter) doesn't have the potential of a V8. Oh and mabe spank a few mustangs on the way. |

i do have a pcmforless tune iam just gonna have it done again because i was picking up a lot of false knock.

What type of tranny are your running (A4 or M6)?
A4: Stock 240-255 RWHP
M6: Stock 250-270 RWHP
CAI:5-10 RWHP
TB Bypass:0-2 RWHP
Air Foil: 0 RWHP
Catback: 5-8 RWHP
Tuning:5-10 RWHP
Going to a lower gear set like a 3.73 will actually show less horsepower on a chassis dyno.

Wow..... I thought this thread was dead. Glad to see more people posting on it ;D. Wish I could say that i've made some HP upgrades since I started this thread but sadly I havnt  . The only thing thats different is the alluminum driveshaft thats on it right now(got it free baby  ). |
