Hey Doc, do you plan on using that Vortech supercharger kit? Raymond

I plan on starting out with a 7 PSI kit from Powerdyne with an upgraded 9 PSI pulley. I have got a spare 4.3L that I am going to starting building soon that will see 16 PSI. I doubt the powerdyne will be able to produce that much boost so I may have to upgrade to a Vortec or a Procharger to get the results that I will be seeking.

Do you have a Powerdyne kit now? Why not just get a Vortech kit to start with?

I assume for the 16psi installation you are planning a fmic? If not, what are your plans for cooling the intake charge?

Make sure you let me know when you get it in. I'll come over to help you install it! Tommy loves forced induction V6s because he knows what its like to get SMOKED by one, right Tommy? ;D

Stock LB4 castings flow only 165 CFM compared to the 96' and up Vortec castings of 235 CFM. Some have even flow close to 270 after a good port job. Needless to say lots of Syclone and Typhoon owners are scrambling to get their hands on a new set of vortec casting for a decent power gain.

Looking into using an intercooler system, I haven't made up my mind which one or type to use yet. Seen a N20 spray bar I am looking into that fits over your intercooler and utilizes the N20 to cool the intake charge dramatically, this would be sweet to own. ;D

Do you have a Powerdyne kit now? Why not just get a Vortech kit to start with? Raymond Reason being is I am a poor poor man. The powerdyne kit with the 9PSI pulley will run me around $2600. It would probably be wiser to save a little extra money and get the better SC to begin with but I am so anxious, I don't think I would be able to hold out. I plan on running the Powerdyne on my current setup till I can get the other engine built to my plans which may take a while. That way, I can enjoy some power while I get the real contender on its feet.
