These Vortec Heads have 2.00/1.60 valves and a mild porting and polishing.

Those heads flow really well expecially considering its just a mild porting. Are these the heads your going to put on the engine your getting from Ronald?

Those heads flow really well expecially considering its just a mild porting. Are these the heads your going to put on the engine your getting from Ronald? I plan on trying to get the same or better flow from the spare heads. My current heads flow peak at 230 or so cfm stock.

Wow! I remember that the iron vortec heads for the V8 flowed that well, but I had no idea that the V6 versions did. Those flow better than those ported 69 Windsor heads you have on the Mustang!

They flow alot better. Sad isn't it? Thats why I have been trying to get cheap Larry to buy a set for his old corvette. He just won't listen. The V6 vortecs and the V8 head castings flow the same to my knowledge. Every flow number that I have seen between the two have been almost the same.

Have you checked the block yet to see if it can be bored? It looked pretty bad last time I saw it.

Block does look bad, don't know if .060 overbore will take out the cylinder wall scars. I am going to take it to a machine shop for them to look it over soon along with the heads.
