are there different intakes for the 3.8? or is it just a L67 toL36 intake swap?
there was a post on another board about different intakes, but don't really trust that board and their advice. I have to ask the experts here.

To be honest with you, I have been having a hard time finding out anything for the GM 3.8. I will keep looking for info and get back with you as soon as I can find out something.

there is the intake from the GN. and i know they have made sheetmetal intakes for higher HP engines.
now this is the Gen 1 3800 so i dont know if they are interchangable

well u have ur tweeked t/b or ur straight, the straight was introduced in the 97 models and up i want to say? and the tweeked were 95 to 97 or 98 i think the straight added some hp just because it had an air lid.

i think the series 1 3800 ( around the grand national time ) has a straight intake compared to the series 2 ( which are on 95-02 f-bodys ) are slanted to the left .
