i ordered my scanmaster this week and i stopped by the schucks auto parts store here and had my codes pulled for $hits and giggles there were no current codes and one ?history? code of TPS too low. i can only guess this is a result of my twin 58mm TB. is there a way to adjust said item or what? could this be why my tranny is shifting wrong? (covered in the WTF thread) ??

[Edit] I thought you said you installed your Scanmaster, so the rest of this doesn't really apply at the moment. But, this is what you should do when you get the Scanmaster installed. Yes, this could be causing the tranny problems, but we'll have to wait and see.
-After installation of the Scanmaster-
Go to your car and turn the key to the 'on' position (not run). The Scanmaster will start communicating/requesting info from the computer after a few seconds.
Scroll thru the listings until you get to 'tPS' (voltage) and "tPP" (0-100% throttle). These are a little bit more than half-way thru the list. Write down the readings it shows for each, just sitting there. Then, go ahead and depress the gas pedal all the way to the floor, and write down the new readings. Once you get them, post them here.
Also, just for kicks -- watch these two readings as you gradually depress the gas pedal. There should be NO jumps or skips in the reading -- just a gradual increase in voltage/percent.
Basically, we're going to find out how your sensor is functioning. If the sensor is working correctly (no voltage spikes), but the voltage readings are low, THEN we can go into correcting those readings by 'slotting' the TPS mounting holes with a dril bit, so you can readjust the readings back to factory specs.

By the way, if you don't have it already, here's the link to Injuneer Fred's writeup on the Scanmaster LT1. It'd be a good idea to read up and get familiar with the readings, now that you'll have a Scanmaster. members.aol.com/InjuneerZz/ScanMast.htmThat link is extremely helpful/informative. -Not just to understand the Scanmaster and its readings, but also to understand some of how the computer functions in these cars.
