One of the best tracks in Georgia is Road Atlanta. Its located just off Hwy 53 in Braselton, Georgia. Docspeed drives by it every night on his way to work. I just posted a thread about the Petit Le Mans race that is happening there next month.

I run Motorsports Ranch in Cresson, Tx. It's 1.7 miles and 13 turns, elevation changes, a couple of off camber spots, and two blind apexes. My best time so far is 1:29.5. This is in a stock engine and full weight T/A. (Notice I didn't say stock suspension)

I have Pocono raceway (which has 3 infield road courses but are not that good), Beaverun in Pittsburgh is very good (Alan Wilson designed) and Englishtown, NJ has a small one they are working on. All are within a 2-4 hour drive. Best track I ever driven on was Virginia International Raceway (VIR) in southern Virginia, I drove a formula ford there, awesome.

Cresson is probably about 250 miles or so north.
