It's funny, as many custom made driveshafts that I've had made, you'd think I'd know the measurements to something like this. Not sure, but I'll put this one "To The Top" for ya'.

My driveshaft is sitting out in the garage -- I'll go measure it for you...

Ok, here are my measurements:
A) 40-3/4" from center of front u-joint, to center of rear u-joint. B) 6-7/8" from center of front u-joint, to tip of slip-yoke. C) 47-5/8" from center of rear u-joint, to tip of slip-yoke (overall driveshaft length).
If this is indeed a factory LS1 driveshaft, then it should fit your car without any issues. The LS1 driveshaft might not have the exact same size dimensions of the LT1 driveshaft, but the overall length should be roughly the same. This might explain why the measurements don't match, but you could ask him to triple-check his measurements, just to be certain.

was also wondering if the splines on slip yoke would be the same for f bodys. he says its for a 82-02 camaro. i know it will fit my firebird if it fits camaros, but are the output shafts all the same on the trannies that came in these year f bodys? (t56, t5, 4l60e, etc)
