does the lt1 come with a harmonic balancer, and is it completly removewd when installing an underdrive pulley?

Yes the LT1 comes with a Harmonic balancer. It is "0" balanced but is still needed for harmonics. Yes you will have to pull the balancer off and install it with the underdrive pulley. It acts as a piggyback for the underdrive. You will not need to remove the hub.....just the balancer (has 3 bolts). Sometimes a pulley puller is required.
