Hello to everybody. I'm new in the site. I hope someone can help me out with some questions. I bought a 96 manual TA ws6 about a month ago. The car needs some work but I got a good deal on it. This car has some modifications on it. It has a JET computer ship, full custom exhaust, Motorsports throtte, sway bar. Can someone tell me around how many horses this bird is putting? Also the valves are making some noise? At high speed I can feel some vibration on the car and is not on the steering wheel it feel on the bottom of the car, does anyone knows what can that be? But even with all this the car runs very strong and so far I have beaten a few mustangs 5.0 thanks.
I can feel the vibration at speeds from 85 MPH and up.
As far as the headers I think they are the long ones. And the computership I not sure what is that for. Like I said I got the car only a month ago. I know that the previous owner put money into it but I'm not sure exactly what he put on it. All the info that I'm providing it's what I see from outside. Is there any members in phoenix area? Thanks for your help.

welcome. there are a few variables in there, like which exhaust is it, long, mid or short headers? is the computer tuning just for gears or is it actually performance. motorsport throtte is that a new throttle body? and the valve usually make some noise.

The valves usually do make some noise, but even more if there are roller rockers installed. Does the vibration come and go with MPH? Or does it come and go with different engine rpms? Gotta help us narrow it down. You'll beat more than 5.0's with that car, just get the launch and shifts down.

yeah it is gonna be tough to guesstimate a number for power, i would sugsest if any performance shops had a dyno day in your area take it out and get it dynoed. and maybe they might be the ones that did some work on it and can tell you more.

What do you have for gears? If there are 3:73's, sometimes the driveshaft vibrates right around that speed due to the extra driveshft rpm. There not really accuratly balanced. A nice aluminum or carbon ($$$$) shaft would correct that, but you need to look at everything before making that assumption. By the way, welcome to the site Dave

Well since your vibration comes with MPH, its safe to say that its something driveshaft, rear-end, or trans. tailshaft. Anything in front of those items like the trans or motor would cause an RPM consistent vibration... In most cases it would be the driveshaft.

Welcome aboard Check your U-joints out. Or, maybe re-balance your back wheels.
