They eat money left and right, any case new here, from Houston. I have a 93 Trans Am I'm building up right now. Have had the car for over 6 years now, bought it with 41K miles, has a little over 68K on the clock. Big red money pit  |

Man, if I didnt sped money on that car I could do stuff like eat  I left it prety stock but now I have a daily driver and a steady job while being in school, so no reason not to try and go for some numbers |

Lt1's are money suckers but it's all worth it in the end agreed 110% right now i have a radiator leak and a clutch going out. the clutch is getting replaced soon and the radiator is getting replaced/fixed next week. i noticed you drive a 93 if your not already on there you need to get on www.speeddensity.org it is specifically made for our "special" 93's |

Cool thanks man, I am on Speeddensity.org, same user name. Its kinda of fun tearing in to all stock lower mile LT1 but at the same time its kinda like I hope I know what I'm doing because this car is mint and would hate to mess it up.

Guys, I don't know how far y'all are into yours, but I am into a new short block 1 year after a H/C swap. Glad I have two other drivers so I can piece together what I need as I can find it (in order to salvage my marriage). It just makes it hard when you want to get your stuff out and race it. When you couple that with the fact that I am down from two back surgeries in two months, the cabin fever is really starting to kick my ass. Money, hell, I want my car back.  |

Welcome Neil! Glad you made it over here! So.....what exactly are your plans now on the car? Tony Hey Tony, Right now finishing the suspension, put a torque arm and panhard bar in a few weeks ago. Sunday the car is getting HAL QA1s and LCAs. After that Long tubes are going on some time in April. I have heads sitting here for it, but they need a valve job and fresh seals. Other wise good to go, they are ported MTI heads. I have pushrods and rockers as well as a ported 93 LT1 intake for it as well. I'm glad I left it stock with the expcetion of stall, cold air and wheels but now it isnt my daily driver and I can afford to break it. Neil |
