I used Edelbrock 58mm. www.edelbrock.com/automotive_new/mc/efi/throttle_bodies.shtmlWhy? I liked the price of the Edelbrock ($330) plus it came with a new throttle position sensor. It was between BBK and Edelbrock for me because most companies wanted too much ($450-up)for theirs and a stock ported one cost almost as much ($250) as the BBK. ($300)

I have to agree with the Edelbrock TB. Can't beat the price.

Maybe I should have included stock 48mm with airfoil. I guess that can be under bone stock.

I had a stock bored to 52 MM for $130 from Ebay. He also bored the airfoil, a friend had another company do his for 160 and quality was much lower.

I got a used Holley. Not a fan of Holley at all now. This TB doesn't seem to want to work did some research on a corvette board and there are some many post bout "how to fix" them to make them work. I'm going with the Edelbrock after I get rid of this one I have now and the project motor is finished

I couldn't vote because my throttle body is a BBK/Edelbrock. I guess the two companies were working together on them back then.

I like my holley. Being a machinist, I can appreciate the machined billet unit. It really looks wild when you pull it out of the box. All my guys loved it when I showed it around the shop. It's got a WOW factor. It also works just fine for my S/C'd application. Dave

if its an NA combination TB size kind of depends on cam and displacement. if its got a stock cam the stock tb is fine. and you are better off being to small then to big on tb size. ive seen a stock shortblock 302 mustang, NA with stock cam, good heads and intake pick up almost 1mph by going from a 60mm tb (stock) to a 65mm. but lose 3 mph by going from the 65mm to a 70mm tb.

Um buy the cheapest one used....... Its a throttle body not rocket science, On a side note Id pay the extra cash for ones with the nitrous bugs already built into them for a cleaner instale etc.

Didn't vote because right now, I am using a stocker, but I have a line on a used TPIS unit that I am going to put on the incoming 383.
