Hi everyone ,

Im 54, did drag race for 15 years in the 70-85 ....( 69 Z28, 70 nova ss 396 & 70 442 W-30 )

I normaly rebuild carburated engines for street & strip purposes .
Decided this time to build a combo
just bought a solid 84 olds cutlass supreme with a 305 .(cheap)

Im gonna put a 95 LT1 and gl60 tranny in it for fun & reliability .
for sure ill need some advice because this is new territory for me
i want to extract around 400 hp out of this ....

I live in quebec canada Im mostly french , but can take good care of english language ....
I also do a lot of offroad with my modified Jeep...

Hello, nice to meet you.
Post up any questions you may come across and we'd be glad to help.
As far as building the LT1 motor... Its basically an old school SBC with a few small differences. So building the bottom end shouldnt be that hard for you.
Im sure the questions you'll come across will relate to the unique parts and the injection system.
For what its worth, extracting 400hp out of a LT1 motor is simply a head and cam swap away.
