Today one of the techs that I work with had a car come through with 512,000 miles on the original engine assy, never been apart. The owner has a black book with the service history of the vehicle starting at 3200 miles, and every oil change was with mobile 1. Just thought that was interesting.

i had a 1990 dodge dynasty w/ a 3.3 that my mom bought new. i changed the oil every 5k with castrol syntech 5w50 and it had over 450K when it was sold. the engine was still fine, but it would cost more then the car to replace the trans that went out. i never put so much as a timing chain on that thing. i got it w/ 130K on it and drove the nuts out of it.
now my beater is an 89 dynasty w/ a 3.0 that my grandma bought new. i got it w/ 71K on it and it now has about 240K on it. i just run the cheapest sae 30 i get at walmart thru it and a cheap filter and change it every 3K. i put a timing belt on it about 100K ago. ;D

Wel I'm not sure if this applies to all the Pep Boys; but you can buy a Pep Boys calander at their store for 1$; and it has coupons in their for Mobil 1 oil; its buy 3 get 3 FREE... You can also get free carwash soap, fuel system cleaner (i didnt use it, but got it free) also free wax as you dry spray.....
